A peek into a beekeeping session for Cook the Farm 2025

This week I returned to my beloved island of Sicily.

I was invited to speak with Carlo Amodeo and the students of Cook the Farm at Anna Tasca Lanza.

We spent a full day walking in the garden, admiring the Sicilian Black Bee and recalling different ways that humans create homes for bees. In true testimony to magic — we were graced by a swarm while sitting in the courtyard.
